Meet Recap

I like big numbers and I cannot lie, at least when it comes to how much our Shelby Tigers are improving week after week. Six out of Ten runners set new personal records (PRs), with three of them taking more than one minute off their previous best effort.
Devan Yeager took 2:01 off her time from last week, and 1:45 off her PR.
Maddie Hawk shaved an incredible 2:46 from seven days ago, and 1:39 from her PR.
Jill Mitteer also continues to shine as she took 1:02 off her fastest time to date.
Also improving their times were:
Lindsey Harvell by 38 seconds, Lindsey Trantham by 17 seconds, and Claire Peterson by 3 seconds. Claire is the one of two runners that has improved with each race (the other being Kaden Olmstead on the Boys Varsity team).
Marah Olmstead improved her time by 38 seconds from last week and Gillian Parzych was just shy of her time from last week.
Maya Cornaby finished 1st on the team (20th place overall).
Alex Habicht ran well despite having hurt her ankle midway through the race, but was accompanied in the ladder portion of the race by teammate Marah Olmstead.

Way to go, Ladies!
